Welcome to our website. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and products. The platform is operated by Carisa Mitchell Fine Art, LLC, doing business as Dogwood and Vine (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By browsing this website, purchasing our digital books, or enrolling in our online courses, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or purchase our products.

1. Intellectual Property & Copyright Protection
All materials on this website—including but not limited to video tutorials, course lessons, curriculum structures, text, downloadable worksheets, source photographs, original artwork images, graphics, and digital e-book PDFs—are the sole intellectual property of Carisa Mitchell Fine Art, LLC DBA Dogwood and Vine.

Single-User License: Your purchase of an online course or digital book grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to view and use the content for educational, non-commercial purposes only.

Prohibited Uses: You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, or publicly display any of our content without express written permission.

AI Training Restriction: You are strictly prohibited from using any text, images, videos, or digital files from this website to train Artificial Intelligence (AI) models or machine learning algorithms.

2. Student Accounts & Security

To access purchased art courses via our student dashboard (powered by Tutor LMS), you must create an account during checkout (powered by WooCommerce).

You agree not to share your account or login details with any third party. Sharing course access with non-paying users will result in the immediate termination of your student account without a refund.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username and password).

3. Digital Product Refund Policy

Due to the immediate, downloadable, and digital nature of our products, all sales are final.

Technical Issues: If you experience any technical difficulties accessing your student dashboard or downloading your file, please contact us immediately at hello@dogwoodandvine.com so we can assist you.

Online Courses: Once access to the student dashboard or course modules is granted, no refunds will be issued.

Digital Books (PDFs): Once the download link is generated or delivered via email, the purchase is non-refundable.

4. Course Access and Platform Availability

Platform Modifications: We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue specific lessons, resources, or courses at any time to improve the curriculum.

Lifetime Access: Unless specified otherwise at checkout, purchasing a course grants you “lifetime access” to that course’s modules. “Lifetime access” means you will have access to the materials for as long as the course platform is actively maintained by Carisa Mitchell Fine Art, LLC DBA Dogwood and Vine.

5. Student Conduct & Community Guidelines

Our student dashboards and discussion areas are designed to be a supportive, creative environment for artists.

  • You agree not to post any content that is abusive, defamatory, offensive, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • We reserve the right to remove any comments, artwork submissions, or forum posts that violate these rules, and to ban offending users from community features.

The content provided in our courses and books is for educational and artistic instruction purposes only. Carisa Mitchell Fine Art, LLC DBA Dogwood and Vine shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or any creative techniques taught within the materials.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Jefferson County, Mississippi.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted directly to this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the site or access to your courses following changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
